welcome

It all begins with a first step. Maybe you want to better understand your emotional landscape. Perhaps you are seeking different skills to navigate an overwhelming environment. Or maybe you want to find creative ways to support your nervous system, build resilience, or set boundaries. Whatever it is, how we approach your path can make all the difference.

therapy can be helpful with many life areas…

Introversion & High Sensitivity

Introverts and highly sensitive people deserve a process that understands and celebrates your unique temperament. We can explore how to shape your environment to support your authentic needs and self-expression.

Navigating Mood

At times, anxiety or depression can make it feel like your world is closing in, but you don’t have to be alone while you learn to cope and reclaim your sense of wellness.

Life Changes

Whether chosen or imposed, we often underestimate how difficult transitions can be. Cultivating your connection to yourself can help you navigate life’s seasons in alignment with your values and needs.

Traversing Grief & Loss

Seasons of sorrow will visit all of us and invite us to reflect on what matters in life. You may not feel ready to face the world or put things into words. We will adapt our approach to your needs.

Stress Management

The stressors in our life have a huge influence on our overall capacity. We can work together to identify the internal and external stressors in your life using the wisdom of your nervous system to build resilience.

Rural Communities

Living in a small town can feel isolating and it’s nice to have choice about what kind of support you receive. Choose from traditional counselling, art therapy, virtual or in-person services.

why hello there

Explore Counselling & Art Therapy is located within the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Alberta which are the traditional sacred territories of the Indigenous communities and families that have been stewarding this land for generations.

These are the Stoney Nakoda (including the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Wesley First Nations), the Tsuut'ina First Nation, the Blackfoot Confederacy (including the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai First Nations) and the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region III. As an act of reconciliation and decolonization, may we work together to answer the TRC's Calls to Action: Truth & Reconciliation Commission Reports and Findings.
